Q: Does using the waterless car wash mean that I have to give up washing with water forever? What if I temporarily have no access to waterless car wash products and have to do a watered wash? Will there be any negative effects?

A: While we rarely ever see anyone who would want to switch back to the kind of car wash that uses water after trying the waterless car wash for themselves, if you find yourself in a situation where you absolutely have to wash with water, that is just fine. The solution that the waterless car wash is made from features no toxic or abrasive chemicals so no matter what else touches your car, they will all play nicely.

The only thing we could say is that if you have just recently performed the waterless car wash on your car and you try to give it a regular wash, you might have trouble getting the water to stay on your car! This is because the waterless car makes use of a special protective layer that is meant to block matter and any other contaminants from collecting on your car. You might have seen something like this on your windshield before which results in rain just beading directly off of your windshield. The same thing happens with the waterless car wash.

So if you have already been using the waterless car wash for some time now and have been enjoying its benefits then we recommend you try to continue using it wherever possible. With all of the waterless dealers popping up all over the country and world it should be quite easy for you to track down a waterless dealer no matter where you are in the world. If you absolutely can’t find some and your supply has run out, then you can safely wash with water but after becoming familiar with the waterless car wash we fear you will be seriously disappointed with the results.

Q: What will happen to all the water that I save from switching over to the waterless car wash?

A: While this is sort of a difficult question to answer too specifically, it is a very good one indeed. Usually people will wash their cars using water which comes from their hose, which is turn takes water from their city or town’s water supply. This water is what supplies all of the residents of your area with water, sometimes even good enough for drinking depending on the area that you live in.

This means that by you saving all this water your town will be able to make use out of that many more gallons of water and that is just from you. IN places like the UK where a hosepipe ban has just come into effect, the results might have been very different had everyone simply been washing their cars with the waterless car wash. There would have been enough water on reserve and people would still be free to use water for things like watering their lawns and other things that we still haven’t found a waterless solution for.

So the short answer is that the water will go right back into your community. The residents of your area will never be threatened with a shortage of water or a hosepipe ban within your city as long as you and the majority of the people you know are choosing to wash their cars waterlessly. This is just at a local level however and if people all over the world were making use of the waterless car wash then it would be much easier for the world to get rid of the water shortage problems that have been rearing their ugly head as of late.

Q: At one point should I stop buying Freedom Waterless Car Wash products by the bottle and begin purchasing them in bulk or in concentrate?

A: This is a great question and is something that many customers end up experiencing at one point or another after becoming a fan of the waterless car wash. In our opinion there really is no bad time to start purchasing bulk products or buying in concentrate as long as you know that you will be using the waterless car wash for some time to come. The reality is that most people that try the waterless car wash end up falling in love with it and end up wanting to use it exclusively.

With the concentrate or bulk products though it will require a bit more of an initial cost (although cheaper in the long run) compared to just buying bottles whenever they need to refill. This means that we usually suggest that our customers are washing a pretty decent amount of cars before they start to buy in bulk or concentrate.

If you have several cars parked in your driveway that you use the waterless car wash with and you like to wash frequently – every weeks or more then it might be about time that you started thinking about going bulk, concentrate or both. If you are constantly having friends come over and ask you to wash their cars or show you how the waterless car wash works then it can be much more cost effective to give them a little bit to take home and try if you already have a big tub of the solution.

The good thing about shipping in bulk or concentrate is that it really cuts down on our global footprint as it requires a lot less energy for us to ship just on large bulk or concentrate container one time compared to shipping all of those bottles many times. The reduced weight by ordering in concentrate also reduces fuel used to ship the items themselves while in transit.

If you are interested in reducing the weight of the products being shipped but aren’t quite ready to go bulk then you might want to consider our concentrate bottles. We offer regular sized bottles that are filled with a small amount of concentrate and all you have to do is add the water, shake it up and wash! Adding enough water to fill the bottle will be all you need and you will never notice the difference between that and our original product although you will be helping us to reduce our global footprint – something that is very important to us.

So whether you are looking to buy in concentrate because you are using so much product or because you just want to cut down on the weight of shipments, we have a way to work with you. We always try our best to make our customers and the earth happy and this is a great example of how we do that.

Q: I love the way that the waterless car wash makes my car look. I wanted to know if it makes a difference if I rub the solution in to my car for longer or rub it in harder?

A: You are probably familiar with the phrase “work smarter not harder” and that totally applies to the waterless car wash as well. We don’t want people to have to be out there rubbing the solution in until their arms get sore. That is why we created the waterless car wash in the way that we did, so that you wouldn’t have to work so hard. A good rule of thumb is that if you feel tired after performing the waterless car wash then you are probably not doing it efficiently and letting the waterless car wash do the hard work for you.

Believe us, the waterless car wash is not just a random selection of ingredients thrown together haphazardly. Every single milliliter of liquid in the waterless car wash has been balanced to exactly the right level so that every single drop is serving a purpose. With the waterless car wash one of our main goals was to clean up the environment so we wanted there to be no waste in any way, shape or form. Beyond that, we don’t want our customers to work too hard. Just apply the solution to a micro fiber towel and rub it in. Then grab a clean micro fiber towel and wipe it off. It really is that simple.

Some people do think however that by rubbing harder or by rubbing the waterless car wash in for longer they will get better results. This is not necessary whatsoever though as this is not what brings out that amazing shine on your car. The waterless car wash is designed to do all of the hard work and manual labor for you. It does not require extensive cleaning or rubbing because the ingredients in the waterless car wash are strong enough to clean your car all on their own. As soon as they latch onto the dirt that might already be on your car it will work to lift everything that shouldn’t be on your car right off of it. Rubbing in even harder will actually prevent the waterless car wash from doing its job to really lift off the dirt and grime.

So remember that when you are performing the waterless car wash on your car that you don’t need to work too hard at all to make your car look amazing. All you need is to rub it on and rub it off and the waterless car wash will do all of the hard work for you in between. The first couple of times that you do it you might feel like there is no way that being so light and gentle on your car will ever get it truly clean – but after you get used to things you will realize that is one of the benefits of going waterless.

Q: Is there any important information I should know about the waterless car wash before I begin using it?

A: Yes, there is a ton of information that you should know about the waterless car wash! The first thing is that the waterless car wash will be one of the easiest things you could ever use in your efforts to help to save the environment. By using the waterless car wash you will be literally saving hundreds of gallons of water per month just by yourself. If you start to tell your friends and family about the waterless car wash as well then those numbers can become seriously inflated, in a good way.

The next important thing to remember is that all waterless car wash products are strictly common snese products. This means that even though they are extremely easy to use, you will still have to practice standard common sense while using them. If your car is covered in dirt or mud or other abrasive materials then you should not just start the cleaning process right away. You will want to get the hose out and then begin to spray the excess debris off of your car before you begin washing. It does seem like total common sense although you would be surprised at how many people believe that they can just start rubbing in the waterless car wash solution with dirt and mud still on the car because it is called the waterless car wash. While we try to conserve as much water as humanly possible, there will be times when water is necessary, you just need to address when those times will be.

Another good piece of information for beginners to the waterless car wash to have is how often they should be washing their car. While some people are so dedicated that they are washing their cars waterlessly every week or sometimes more often, it doesn’t need to be that much. Some people will go for a month at a time without washing which is OK, although you will not get the full level of protection if you are washing that infrequently. We think the sweet spot is somewhere around every two or three weeks. This gives your car the maximum amount of protection while at the same time allowing you to keep your car protected but also to not have to be out there actually washing it every week or so.

As you can see there is a lot of great information that you should know about the waterless car wash and to be honest we could talk about this topic all day long. We are such huge believers in the fact that if everyone was using waterless car wash products that they would be able to make such a huge impact on the environment that we might be able to get rid of our water problems worldwide within just a few hours. To think about things like that really puts things into perspective and should make everyone want to rush out and grab a bottle of the waterless car wash right away.

Q: Is there a best time of day to perform the waterless car wash on my car? Or does any time of day work?

A: Really, pretty much any time is just fine to perform the waterless car wash on your car. There are a few factors that can affect things but usually the difference is very minor if noticeable at all. We say the best time of day to wash your car if whatever point of the day that you have time to wash it. That being said, for us some times of the day work better than others but it is really more of a preference thing if anything.

We do tell people that if at all possible that it is better to perform their waterless car wash in the shade instead of doing it while the car is baking in the hot sun. If you are performing the waterless car wash in your own driveway and you don’t have any natural shade from things like trees then you may want to take that in consideration. Depending on the positioning of your home you may be able to gain some shade at certain times of the day which will all be dependent on the position of the sun.

The reason we say to stay out of the sun if possible while doing the waterless car wash is to give the special protective layer enough time to fully set in and do the work that it is supposed to you before you let the hot sun hit it. Once the protective layer has already completely set then the sun will be no problem for it as it will bake the protective layer a bit and actually help to make it just a bit stronger.

Outside of all that though, no one wants to be standing around for too long in the hot sun. The waterless car wash was designed to help to make your life easier so there is no need for you to be out there underneath the sun if you don’t need to be. Find a place or a time of day to perform it when you can relax a bit and the sun’s rays won’t be beaming down on you so hard, it will be better for both you and your car.

So in the end the answer is that while there isn’t a best time of day to perform the waterless car wash, if you can find some shelter from the sun – even just temporarily – that would be best. The important thing to remember, even if you can’t find shelter from the sun is that the time of day you wash your car is mostly important. The most important part is that you get it washed in the first place and when you do you wash it without water.

Q: When it rains is it still necessary to perform the waterless car wash on my car? What is the relationship between rain and the waterless car wash?

A: This is a great question and one that we are receiving all the time. First let’s look at how rain relates to a regular car wash before noting the differences with the waterless car wash. Most people think that when it rains out that there is actually no need to wash their cars because the water is doing it all for them. A traditional car wash place would be quick to tell you that you are wrong because they are only looking for your business. In reality, it is our opinion that rain might actually do a better job of washing your car than the guys at your neighborhood car wash. One thing is for certain, it is definitely much easier on the environment as there will be no wasted water (that rain was going to fall anyways) and no more extra soap residue and other nasty chemicals washing into the earth.

The only bad part is the rain will wash off the dirt but won’t do a single thing to protect your car from getting dirty in the future. While we can’t actually fault the rain for this as its function isn’t to wash your car, it is still a downside in our opinion.

So for those of you that have already caught on to the benefits of using the waterless car wash, you might be asking whether or not is a good idea to use the waterless car wash after it has rained. The answer is most definitely “Yes”. This is because the waterless car was features a special compound that protects your car from all things including rain. You might notice that after using the waterless car wash that rain seems to simply bead off of your car as if the rain was afraid of being anywhere near your car.

What this means is that there is basically an invisible layer between the surface of your car and the rest of the world. This invisible layer goes to great lengths to protect your car in all situations and believe us, your car will get very dirty without it. So in essence the water doesn’t have any real effect on your car, your car will maintain the same level of cleanliness whether it is raining or shining.

In the end, this is really the only answer that makes sense. It is of course known as the waterless car wash so having water used of any kind would pretty much defeat the point. While rain is certainly not harmful for your car when using the waterless car wash, it doesn’t really have any effect at all. It is important to still stick to your regular schedule of using the waterless car wash so that you can keep the protection and shine of your car going for as long as possible.

Q: What Should I tell to people who are skeptical of the advantages of the waterless car wash?

A: For most issues we would tell people not to waste their time on someone who doesn’t care about information and hard facts. For something like the waterless car wash though we feel it has enough advantages to the environment that you should do your part in spreading the world so that we can help our earth.

Before even trying to get into the advantages the waterless car wash has for your car, you should start off by telling them exactly how much water they can save by using the waterless car wash. Ask them if they would ever go and turn on their hose for an hour for absolutely no reason at all. The person will almost certainly say that they would never do something like waste that much water for no reason at all. Explain to them that every time they wash their car with water, that is exactly what they are doing.

Once they are starting to see your point about saving water and are starting to be more accepting of the waterless car wash then you can move onto the advantages for your car. You can tell them that the waterless car wash doesn’t need to be performed as often as a regular car wash to give you amazing results. Explain that unlike a regular car wash, the waterless car wash will add a protective layer to your car that will allow you repel dust and dirt and other sorts of grime for up to a month from the original wash time.

If that isn’t enough for them explain to them that they can do the waterless car wash just about anywhere without making a mess. If they aren’t interested in washing their car themselves then tell them how most waterless car wash dealers will come to you and wash your car wherever you are and they won’t have to do a single thing. Just tell them to make an appointment and their car will be cleaned before the next time they go outside.

If that isn’t enough to convince someone then we don’t know what else to say. Some people are just stubborn and stuck in their ways meaning they don’t want to learn about anything new. For those people, we guess they just aren’t cool enough to be a part of the waterless club.

Q: What is the best way to make sure that my car stays at maximum shine level at all times?

A: Great question! The first thing that you can do is make sure that you are giving your car a waterless wash often enough to give it a good shine and make it stay that way. While some people prefer to only wash their car once a month the waterless way, washing it more often is a great way to bring the shine out more. When washing once a month, the protection will still be there all throughout the month to keep your car from getting dirtier but the shine often fades away much quicker.

To keep your car looking as shiny as possible at all times, we recommend using the waterless car wash around once a week. This will mean that your shine never has a chance to fade away and your car will always be in the cleanest condition possible. You will definitely thank us when every time you walk outside and see your car, it is looking as good as it did on the day you bought it.

Washing every week can be quite time consuming though but there are a few tips and tricks that will help you to find the time. If you live in an area that has a waterless car wash dealer and detailer, they often will come right to you to wash your car. This means that you can just sit back and relax and have your car cleaned for you no matter where you are. The versatility of the waterless car wash allows this to go on in places that you would never imagine trying to wash your car.

If you like the feeling of actually washing your car yourself then don’t worry there is always time! The weekends tend to be the most popular time for people to wash their cars although for others the weekends can be very busy, leaving no time at all for car washing. For those people, washing on their lunch break while ate the office or during times when you might be waiting for someone in a parking lot would make the perfect time for you to carry out the waterless car wash.

No matter where you decide will be the right place to perform the waterless car wash there is one tip that you should keep in mind above all. Wherever you go, carry with you a bottle of waterless car wash solution as well as a micro fiber towel. This will ensure that wherever you are, you will always have all of the equipment necessary to perform the waterless car wash. If you find yourself stuck waiting somewhere for a half hour, all you have to do is grab your materials and get to washing. It couldn’t be any easier than that and trust us, your car will thank you for it!

Q: Is it possible to get the same sort of amazing shine from a traditional car wash as I get from the waterless car wash?

A: We are definitely supporters of the waterless car wash in full but we are also honest people. In theory, it could be possible to achieve a good shine from a traditional car wash although it is probably going to cost you a lot more and take you a lot more time. So much time in fact, that we really can’t even recommend trying. Let’s take a look at how you would go about it all.

First you would need to grab some soap, a bucket of water, a sponge and unroll your hose. After spraying a bunch of water around, wasting most of it in the process you will have your car wet enough to start scrubbing with the sponge. You are going to have to scrub pretty hard to get all of that dirt off of there with just soap and water. After you feel like you have finally gotten your car clean enough you can rinse off all of the nasty, soapy water and hope that you don’t leave any streaks.

After that it is time to find a solution that will give your car that shine you desire. Hopefully you already have it at home but if not you may have to go out and buy it. These types of formulas can be expensive and not all of them work as advertised so be a cautious shopper. When you are ready to apply it go and grab yourself a rag and wipe down the entire car. Then let the car dry for about an hour or so.

You might look at the car and the shine might look alright but it is still missing one important thing – protection. There are other products out there that can offer a higher level of protection to your car than just soap and water but they come at a price. If your car is already dry then feel free to go ahead and apply this protectant for the third wipe down of your car. If you still have any energy left after all of that then you should sit back and have a good look at your car because you have really earned yourself a break.

On the other hand, if you had just used the waterless car wash from the beginning you would have saved yourself a whole lot of time and trouble. All you would have had to do was grab your waterless car wash solution and a couple of micro fiber towels and gotten to work wiping your car down. All in one single wipe down and with only one product you would have cleaned your car, given it a great shine and added a long lasting layer of protection. No need to worry about how well all of the different products will work together because there is only one special formula. No headaches!

As you can clearly see, the waterless method is superior at guaranteeing that amazing shine you are longing for. While it is theoretically possible to get a good shine from a regular car wash it just doesn’t make any sense why you would want to when you have the waterless car wash products at your disposal. To us, it is the only way.
